内容提要：A Science Communication Primer:Assumptions, Realities, Barriers & Opportunities
主讲人简介：
Michael A. Cacciatore (PhD, University of Wisconsin-Madison) is an associate professor and Assistant Department Head in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Georgia. He also serves as Co-Director of the Grady Center for Health & Risk Communication, Associate Director of the SEE Suite for Social media Engagement & Evaluation, and a member of the Center for the Ecology of Infectious Disease. Dr. Cacciatore's research examines the communication of controversial science and risk topics, including the role media play in shaping public attitudes. His work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, particularly in the area of engagement strategies for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. Dr. Cacciatore’s work has been published in Public Understanding of Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, New Media & Society, and Health Affairs among others. .
