The lecture series “Central Asia in Regional and Global Civilizational Dynamics”
The lecture series “Central Asia in Regional and Global Civilizational Dynamics” is an interdisciplinary course on a comparative study of Central Asia in historical perspectives of global civilizational interconnectivity, historical and geopolitical transformations, contemporary history and international relations.
主讲人简介：
Mirzokhid Rakhimov currently serves as the head of the department at Contemporary History Center of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. His research interests cover contemporary history, international and regional relations in Central Asia. He held different positions as director of Contemporary history of AS and Chair of board directors of Academy of Sciences and was assigned as a visiting scholar to several universities, including the University of Cambridge, London University and Oxford Center for Islamic Studies (UK), the Universities of Washington and John Hopkins (USA), Leiden University (Netherlands), Giessen, Bellfield and Passau Universities (Germany), Slavic research center of Hokkaido University (Japan), Nehru Universities (India), CERCEC CNRS-EHESS and University Sorbonne (France). Dr. Rakhimov contributed to a broad range of publishers, amongst them Brill, Routledge, Springer, Elsevier, Peter Lang, Primus Books, Cuvillier publications as well as journals like Journal of Eurasian Studies; Cambridge Journal of Eurasian studies; L` Europe en formation: Journal of Studies on European Integration and Federalism; Himalayan and Central Asian Studies and others.
