主讲人介绍:
郁仲莉，现为宁波诺丁汉大学英语语言文学系翻译学助理教授，英国高等教育研究院副研究员。留学英国期间获得爱丁堡大学翻译学理学硕士学位和曼彻斯特大学翻译与跨文化学博士学位。目前主要教授翻译硕士口笔译实践和理论课程，指导中国文学和翻译学博士生。研究兴趣包括性别与翻译，女性主义翻译，戏剧翻译，文化翻译，战争口译和翻译教育。在国内外出版专著、教材、译著和期刊论文，近期出版物包括：“Relay Translation ofFeminism in China: An Intralingual Case” (Journal of TranslationStudies 1:2, 2017)，“Translation asAdaptation and Selection: A Feminist Case“ (Perspectives: Studiesin Translation Theory and Practice 25:1, 2017)，“媒体、叙事与日军翻译官——以夏文运为例” (《译界》1:1,2016)，以及Translating Feminism in China:Gender, Sexuality and Censorship (Routledge, 2015)。
Lily Yu is anassistant professor in Translation Studies in the School of English at theUniversity of Nottingham Ningbo China, and associate fellow of the BritishHigher Education Academy. She holds MSc in Translation Studies (Edinburgh) andPhD in Translation and Intercultural Communication (Manchester, distinction).She teaches mainly on MA Interpreting and Translation Programme and supervisesPhD students in Chinese Literature and in Translation Studies. Her researchinterests include gender and translation, feminist translation, dramatranslation, cultural translation, interpreting in war settings, andtranslation education. She has published monograph, textbooks, translation, andjournal articles. Her recent publications include:‘Relay Translation of Feminism in China: AnIntralingual Case’ (Journal ofTranslation Studies 1:2, 2017) , ‘Translation as Adaptation and Selection:A Feminist Case’ (Perspectives: Studies in Translation Theory and Practice25:1, 2017), ‘Media, narrative, and Chinese interpreters for the Japaneseforces: With Xia Wenyun as an example’ (Translation Horizons 1:1, 2016), and Translating Feminism in China: Gender,Sexuality and Censorship (Routledge, 2015).
内容简介：
早在性别理论产生之前，西蒙·德·波伏娃在其1949年出版的《第二性》中就已经指出女人不是天生的，而是后天塑造出来的，揭示了性别的社会文化属性和女性之为第二性的根源。语言是社会文化的一部分，语言的运用常常折射出诸多的社会文化现象，包括性别问题。那么，英汉两种语言中的性别问题具有哪些特点？女性主义学者和女性主义译者的努力对社会公平或性别平等产生了怎样的影响，取得了怎样的成效？本讲座将从社会语言学角度，结合性别理论和女性主义翻译理论与实践，通过实例针对这一系列问题展开讨论。
