Alpha CRC is a translation company for software and games. The company tries to keep a low profile but works direct with 26 out of top 50 IT companies worldwide and is ranked world's top 50 multilingual translation companies. Alpha operating model is very niche. It is one of the few translation companies in Europe that has a large in-house translation team. Translators working under the same roof and benefiting from learning from each other and team training is one of Alpha's strengths. Due to project and clients's request, Alpha is now setting up a translation team in Shanghai.
The presentation is to share the knowledge with students on software localization using live examples. It is also a good starting point for students to think about their careers in language industry.
