Alister Cumming，加拿大多伦多大学语言与语文教育研究中心主任、教授。国际著名的英语写作教学和测试专家，国际学术期刊《语言学习》（Language Learning）执行主管，多家国际著名期刊编委，美国教育考试中心(ETS)托福考试委员会主席。2014年被聘为北外长江学者。
内容简介：
I will offer suggestions for publishing successfully inscholarly and professional journals, based on my experiences as an author aswell as the Editor then Executive Director of Language Learning since the early1990s and as a member of the Editorial Boards of a dozen journalsfocused onapplied linguistics, assessment, and education. Topics to be discussed include:(a) identifying the appropriate journal, (b) preparing and submitting amanuscript, and (c)expectations for reviews and revisions.
